TAD PGS, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to lead design efforts for commercial and institutional facilities in Philadelphia, PA.

The role requires guiding project teams, coordinating with clients and architects, and delivering compliant HVAC solutions and construction documents. The position demands a deep background in HVAC systems, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise with modeling tools like Revit, Bluebeam, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of HVAC/mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, science & technology, higher education, or similar facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC calculations, equipment selection, and mechanical system design.
• Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior staff.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing project responsibilities.

• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits.
• Support multidisciplinary projects alongside Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Low Voltage teams.
• Utilize Revit and other design software to produce high-quality construction documents.
