Precision Neuroscience in New York is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of innovative intraoperative neuromonitoring devices. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product development and commercialization, impacting the lives of patients with neurological disorders.
This role requires extensive experience in mechanical design within the medical device industry. Join us to contribute to groundbreaking projects and enhance lives with our technology.
Precision Neuroscience is building a next-generation brain–computer interface (BCI) to heal and empower millions of people living with neurological conditions.
Our first product, Layer 7, is designed to help people with severe paralysis operate digital devices using only their thoughts—opening up new possibilities for daily life.
Our team brings together experts in neurosurgery, AI and machine learning, microfabrication, electrical engineering, clinical science, and more. We combine deep technical rigor with a people‑first mindset to turn breakthrough research into real‑world medical solutions.
As a Precision employee, you’ll join one of the fastest‑moving and best‑capitalized companies in the emerging field of brain–computer interfaces. Since our founding in 2021, we have raised more than $180 million, advanced our technology through validation, and initiated human trials with leading hospitals across the country.
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team to lead the design and development of intraoperative neuromonitoring devices and navigated surgical instruments. This position will best suit an engineer who is experienced with mechanical design of Class II medical devices, who thrives in regulated environments, enjoys hands‑on product development, and can take ownership from concept through commercialization.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to join our core team to help shape the future of our company. Your work will see commercialization quickly so that we improve the lives of patients who live with neurological disorders in a matter of months and years, not decades.
This position will be based in our Manhattan office. We are unable to consider remote workers or individuals who are not currently based in the US and legally authorized to work in the US.
