Job summary

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in compressors, pumps, exchangers, flares, tanks, relief valves, piping systems for energy or petrochemical facilities.
• Experience with pertinent industry codes.
• Texas PE license with multistate licensure capability.
• Experience with Hexagon Caesar II software preferred.
• Strong track record in defining objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support to assigned projects
• Ensure the development of effective designs, drawings, and documentation
• Report directly to Mechanical Engineering Supervisor for work process and job assignments
• Work with a team of disciplined engineers to support the creation of deliverables
• May supervise the activities of junior Engineers, designers, and draftsmen
• Ensure drawings and engineering documents are accurate and complete
• Produce detailed designs ensuring compliance with codes and standards
• Develop engineering documents, drawing, and writing specifications
• Lead, supervise and guide discipline-specific teams in the preparation and coordination of design basic or detail drawings

Requirements

• 8-10 years of applicable industry experience in the specification of compressors, pumps, exchangers, flares, tanks, relief valves, piping systems, etc. for energy or petrochemical facilities
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Texas Professional Engineering license with capability for multistate licensure
• Experience with application of pertinent industry codes
• Experience with Hexagon Caesar II software preferred
• Proven success in developing and executing projects, including objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables
• Familiar with Microsoft Office or similar software
