Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering and capital projects within a heavy industrial plant. Projects range from $50K to $5M, covering design, fabrication, FAT, commissioning, and startup.

You will collaborate on safety and risk assessments, manage BOMs, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with vendors and external contractors on multi-million dollar initiatives.

Qualifications

• Capital project management up to $5M.
• Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling and Autodesk Vault experience.
• Machine FAT and commissioning experience.
• Heavy industrial plant engineering background.
• BOM management experience.
• Equipment risk assessment experience.
• External contractor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects up to $5M from design through commissioning.
• Develop and manage drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault.
• Lead machine FAT, startup, and commissioning activities.
