Stantec is seeking an experienced engineer to join our Buildings team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in mechanical systems design, supporting industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing and Data Centers. You will lead engineering efforts, oversee design processes, and mentor junior staff.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, a Professional Engineers license, and over 10 years of relevant experience. This role offers a dynamic work environment focused on innovative design.

You will be responsible for supporting the engineer design efforts with a specific focus on industrial projects such as Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and other Advanced Manufacturing projects. This role requires knowledge of Mechanical Systems and Design including heating/cooling loads calculations, HVAC equipment selection, heat recovery systems, air and water plant distribution systems, ventilation, and process exhaust systems.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
