A biotech firm in Georgia is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical design experience, with at least 3 years in a GMP-regulated biotech or pharma environment.
• Demonstrated experience designing process equipment and utility systems in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, models, and assemblies using AutoCAD.
• Lead mechanical design workstreams on capital projects from initiation through commissioning.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with FDA and GMP standards.

Skills

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD 3D

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience designing process equipment

Proficiency in engineering calculations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
