Job summary

ValvTechnologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer at the Designer II/III/Sr level to work on on-site projects in Houston, TX.

You will develop safe, cost-effective mechanical designs and produce drawings, schematics, and BOMs to support sales, engineering, and manufacturing. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of mechanical design experience with manufacturing knowledge, and 3+ years in valve design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical design experience, with advanced manufacturing knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in valve design.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings, designs, and schematics to support sales, manufacturing, and engineering.
• Perform calculations and material selections to meet QA, sales, and customer requirements.
• Review designs and mentor junior engineers to ensure high quality.
• Manage drawing database – new drawings, revisions, distribution, and archiving.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, API, and QA requirements prior to shipment.
