Job summary

LettrLabs is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves owning the mechanical design of complex electromechanical systems throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to production. You will create manufacturable designs, engage deeply in prototyping, and collaborate with various teams.

Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience in mechanical design, particularly with motion systems and sheet metal, and must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience with motion systems including belts, pulleys, gears, bearings.
• Strong command of DFM/DFA principles.

Responsibilities

• Own entire mechanical systems and sub-systems across the full product lifecycle.
• Design precision motion systems incorporating belts, pulleys, gears.
• Develop sheet metal components and assemblies.
