The role focuses on designing mechanical components and assemblies with Autodesk Inventor, performing FEA, and creating robust manufacturing drawings, while collaborating with managers, clients, and vendors to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and 3D CAD modeling.
• Experience designing industrial machinery, mechanical power transmission systems, or automation equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics and fabricated/machined components.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, fabricated weldments, and assemblies for industrial equipment using Autodesk Inventor.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with engineering and industry standards.
• Perform mechanical analysis, including structural, thermal, vibration, and finite element (FEA) evaluations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and vendors to develop cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
• Select and specify mechanical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for new and existing equipment.
