Job summary

Armada is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to own the cooling distribution architecture across heat-rejection equipment, pumps, piping, manifolds, and rack cooling systems.

You will define cooling boundaries, perform hydraulic modeling, develop P&IDs and equipment schedules, and design for manufacturing, serviceability, and commissioning-first principles. The role requires collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, controls, and field teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical cooling, hydraulic distribution, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of pipe sizing, pump selection, and P&ID ownership.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, controls, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Define primary, secondary, and rack-level cooling boundaries, plus pumping and flow-control strategies.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and develop P&IDs, schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Design for manufacturing, serviceability, and commissioning-first principles.
