We're a manufacturing technology company replacing months of lead time with days, using proprietary software, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems built for speed. Our customers are inventing what's next, in aerospace, defense, robotics, and beyond. To keep up with them, manufacturing has to change. That's what we're building.

We design, machine, print, and build faster than anyone else in the industry and we’re looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers who thrive in high-performance environments and want to be part of the team that’s redefining what’s possible in advanced manufacturing. This role will work on creating new equipment to support the automation of high-volume tasks on the production floor. Your goal is to increase the capability of each Composites Technician.

What You Will Work On:
  • Design equipment to support process improvement and automation throughout the factory floor.
  • Own equipment from design, test, install and commission, and ensure durability for long term production applications.
  • Collaborate with software, controls, and production teams to ensure equipment meets functions as intended.
  • Develop and implement training programs for new equipment.
  • Develop and implement the mechanical solution architecture working with a Chief Engineer.
Experience Required:
  • Be awesome! Be the kind of person you want to work with!
  • 8+ years of experience as an engineer with a proven track record of exceptional ability driven by engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong CAD experience (NX or Solidworks preferred).
  • Capable of driving projects single handedly with limited guidance or input.
  • Experience designing parts (preferably composite and/or metallic), systems and mechanisms.
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods (machining, sheet metal, composites, 3D printing, injection molding, composite lamination, etc)
  • Familiarity working in startups or small teams.
  • Comfortable moving fast and being a part of a quickly changing environment.
  • Strong understanding of first principles physics.
Preferred:
  • Basic proficiency in machining, metal fabrication, composites fabrication, and 3D printing.
  • Have some level of coding/software knowledge (C++, Python, Matlab, VBA, Arduino, etc).
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
