The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for mechanical engineering design and will create final construction drawings throughout the entire construction process. This role will provide technical oversight and serve as a mentor to less experienced design engineers or drafters.

Typical functions of the Senior Mechanical Engineer’s job include, but are not limited to:
When not working from a home office, remotely, or onsite at a project location, most of this role is performed in a professional office environment.
Additionally, this role is required to attend site visits. During site visits, there may be exposure to a variety of environmental conditions, such as being outdoors, being in indoor non-temperature-controlled environments, and maneuvering into tight spaces to scan existing electrical power and lighting systems. This will include weeklong travel, working long days (12-13 hour days) to complete 3d scanning projects. These weeklong trips are occasional (3-4x per year).
