Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Southfield, MI is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Assembler to join our team on the first shift. The role involves assembling mechanical systems, performing panel wiring, and reading blueprints to ensure accurate builds.

You will troubleshoot issues and inspect assemblies for quality, while communicating project updates to customers as needed. Qualified candidates have at least 5 years in manufacturing or automotive environments, strong tool skills, and the ability to read

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
Experience with mechanical and machine assembly.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Strong attention to detail with working knowledge of basic quality inspection processes.
Effective communication, math, and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical systems and machinery using hand and power tools.
Perform basic panel wiring.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during assembly.
Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
Communicate with customers as needed to provide updates and ensure requirements are met.
Support general maintenance tasks.
