Sam’s Club in Visalia, CA is seeking a Senior Meat Cutter to join a brand-new club during opening. You will cut, grind and package fresh meat, ensure product freshness, safety and high-quality service for members, while supporting a fast-paced team in a ground-up environment.

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, grind, and prepare meat products according to specifications
• Ensure freshness, quality, and proper rotation according to company standards.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels, reduce shrink, and store merchandise
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment safely and effectively
• Stock and organize displays to ensure products are available and visually appealing
• Assist members with product selection and provide expert recommendations
• Support a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

As a Senior Meat Cutter at Sam’s Club, you’ll play a key role in preparing fresh cuts, maintaining strong food safety standards, and creating a service experience members can count on. The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.
