Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for Measurement Science, Ads Science & Tech (ASAT) to advance analytics across measurement, attribution, and shopper analytics. You will translate deep-dives into actionable insights for product teams and help improve bidding, targeting, relevance, and feature adoption.

You will collaborate with engineering on data logging, develop KPIs, and present results to senior leadership. The role emphasizes analytics across ad serving and revenue optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (SQL) and scripting (Python).
• 4+ years of data scientist experience in ads/measurement context.
• Experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression.
• 2+ years of data visualization with AWS QuickSight/Tableau/R Shiny.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data trends in supply, optimization, ad load, and advertising mix.
• Present findings to senior leaders on feature impact and ad systems.
• Define and standardize KPIs for ad serving performance.
• Collaborate with engineering to define data logging requirements.
• Validate financial models through analysis.
• Develop ad revenue and supply intelligence dashboards.
