Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Senior MEAN Developer for a fully remote role with an international IT services team in New York. You will design and implement front-end and back-end solutions using Angular, Node.js, and MongoDB, ensuring high-quality, scalable code.

The role requires 5+ years in JavaScript frameworks, AWS exposure, and strong English communications to collaborate across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or University degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks and RESTful web services.
• Minimum 2 years Angular development experience.
• Minimum 2 years Node.js and MongoDB experience.
• Exposure to AWS and cache technologies such as Redis.
• Experience with Elastic Search is desirable.

Location:

For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) MEAN Developer. Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for contractors and employees.

Candidates need to be able to work 4-6 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. Example 9 AM NY time equals 7:30 PM.

Tasks and deliverables:

• Work with an agile team to design and develop front-end and back-end solutions;
• Translate designs and business requirements into high-quality code;
• Develop cross-browser and cross-platform front-end web solutions including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and latest technologies;
• Communicate technical solutions/concepts with trade-offs, risks, and benefits;
• Develop prototypes for easy-to-navigate user interfaces of webpages with graphics, icons, and color schemes that match industry standards for accessibility;

Profile:

• Bachelor or University degree;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks and Restful web services;
• Minimum 2 years Angular development experience (ag-grid, redux experience are plus);
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Node.js and MongoDB (with Mongoose);
• Exposure to build application services on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with architecting/implementing cache services such as Redis;
• Experience with cache implementation for JSON data structures are highly desirable;
• Experience using technologies such as HTML5, CSS for ‘mobile ready UI development;
• Experience with architecting/implementing search APIs such as Elastic Search;
• Exposure to build application services on Amazon cloud services;
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required;
