Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Level 3 to support advanced aerospace and defense programs. This onsite role requires an active secret clearance and will contribute to mission‑critical, next‑generation autonomous and weapons systems.

You will implement MBSE practices, develop system architectures and interfaces using Cameo, MSOSA, and SysML, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet program milestones. Location options are St.

Qualifications

• MBSE experience required and familiarity with modeling tools.
• Active Secret Clearance required before start date.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; Master’s/PhD considered for experience equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams in developing autonomous and complex systems.
• Implement and mature MBSE methodologies within a Digital Engineering ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, requirements, and interfaces using Cameo, MSOSA, and SysML.
• Execute full lifecycle systems engineering activities: requirements decomposition, architecture modeling, interface management, risk identification, verification and validation, and certification planning.
• Prepare technical reviews, documentation, and customer-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with SMEs across engineering disciplines to integrate capabilities.
