Job summary

Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies LLC in Dayton, OH is seeking a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support a Digital Engineering transformation effort focused on missile performance modeling, simulation, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MBSE, working with SysML, and experience in aerospace systems.

This role involves collaborating with government stakeholders to define modeling requirements and optimize workflows. Applicants should have at least 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience applying MBSE to aerospace or mechanical systems.
• Proven experience developing models using SysML and MBSE tools.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to support customer adoption of MBSE.

Responsibilities

• Scope and define requirements for representing missile systems within SysML.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end missile system models.
• Create a scalable and repeatable workflow for generating new missile models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize modeling approaches.
• Support the transition of legacy capabilities into a cloud-enabled engineering framework.
