Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mathematics Tutor for a part-time, primarily online role serving Welkom and surrounding areas. You will deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, adapting to diverse learning styles to help students master mathematics and build confidence.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and have proven tutoring success, including online platforms. Flexible scheduling and professional development support are offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven track record of tutoring success, preferably online.
- Knowledge of high school and introductory college-level mathematics topics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tutoring sessions for individual students and small groups online.
- Develop personalized learning plans based on assessments and goals.
- Explain complex concepts clearly using various teaching approaches.
- Provide homework help, prepare for tests and reinforce classroom learning.
- Track progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
