NVIDIA is seeking software engineers to join our development efforts in cuDSS, a CUDA library for direct solvers for sparse linear systems. This role involves crafting algorithms for direct sparse solvers while collaborating with library and QA engineers.

.We are looking for software engineers to join our development efforts in cuDSS, a CUDA library for direct solvers for sparse linear systems. Around the world, leading commercial and academic organizations are revolutionizing scientific and engineering simulations, data analytics, and AI using data centers powered by GPUs and high-performance linear algebra libraries. Applications of these technologies include computer aided engineering (CAE), electronic design automation (EDA), optimization, quantum chemistry, autonomous vehicles, LLMs, and countless others. Our team develops the GPU accelerated libraries and SDKs that enable these innovations.
In this role, you will work together with other developers in crafting algorithms and kernels for direct sparse solvers. Ideal candidates will have experience developing and optimizing accelerated computing kernels and will demonstrate dedication to advancing the state-of-the-art in accelerated computing domains.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
