Job summary

Mathnasium seeks dedicated tutors to teach math to KG-12 students using our Mathnasium Method in-person, online, or hybrid formats.

Ideal candidates have a passion for math, strong interpersonal skills, and at least 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience, with a bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a related field. Position offers flexible, part-time hours after school and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage learners.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to balance multiple ongoing tasks.
• Ability to teach effectively through at least Pre-calculus (Calculus I preferred).
• Minimum Bachelor's in a related field (Education, Mathematics, or Math-heavy degree).
• 3+ years experience in tutoring/teaching roles; mentoring junior teammates.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method and teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support a safe and professional learning environment.
