Job summary

AoPS Academy is seeking an Associate Director for our Johns Creek campus to lead classroom-based instruction and partner with the Campus Director on hiring, training, and operations. The role is full-time and year-round, including summers, with evenings/weekends for after-school programming.

You will teach the AoPS curriculum, mentor staff, manage administrative tasks, engage families, and foster a strong campus culture to drive student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, strongly preferred in education or related field.
• Advanced degree in subject area preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in math or related subject area.
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience with advanced K-12 students preferred.
• Strong organizational and priority management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented classes.
• Participate in hiring and training of part-time staff.
• Assist with administrative, logistical, and customer service operations.
• Support campus enrollment and sales by meeting with prospective families.
• Counsel students and families for student support.
• Help design campus community-building activities to boost retention.
