Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a hands-on Materials Supply Chain Management, Principal (IC4) to drive materials planning, manufacturing coordination, and supply execution for OCI’s data center deployments in Houston. The role partners with Contract Manufacturers, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Planning to ensure material readiness and executable build plans.

Ideal candidates will identify gaps, challenge commitments, and elevate material or capacity issues when execution diverges

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain operations, or related functions.
• Experience with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong background in inventory control, production scheduling, materials planning, and supply chain execution.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
• Experience in hardware manufacturing, cloud infrastructure, or high-tech environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate material readiness and clean-to-build status for planned production.
• Partner with Supply Planning and Demand Planning to align material availability with forecasted demand.
• Monitor shortages, late commits, and production constraints and drive resolution.
• Review manufacturing plans for material or capacity blockers affecting delivery commitments.
• Support inventory planning and material positioning to maintain supply continuity.
• Ensure timely material flow to support rack and infrastructure delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers, ODMs, and suppliers on material availability and readiness.
• Escalate material gaps and risks to cross-functional teams for resolution.
• Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly supply and capacity reviews with partners.
• Track material management practices to improve control and accountability.
