Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Materials Program Manager II to drive material flow and ensure visibility of current and future material issues. You will work across functions to support materials strategy and lead cross‑functional teams in supplier and part planning.

The role emphasizes reducing lead times, improving supplier performance, and ensuring on‑time build schedules through proactive planning and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business is required.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in manufacturing and materials.
• Experience with procurement, supplier management, and cross‑functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure visibility of current and future material issues with planners and production managers.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Develop supplier road maps and localization strategies for OEM & BTP parts.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to resolve long‑term material issues and improve supplier performance.
• Analyze system need dates, supplier commitments, and production status to identify critical material issues.
• Track KPIs, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
