Job summary

Precigen, Inc. in Germantown, MD is seeking a Full-time Materials Management Specialist to supervise all aspects of inventory and materials flow for cGMP operations in cell and gene therapy manufacturing.

You will receive, inspect, store, ship materials, perform cycle counts, support audits, and coordinate with QA/QC and Manufacturing to keep production on schedule. Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in life science or supply chain management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a regulated materials management environment.
• Solid knowledge of cGMPs, GMP/GDP, and data integrity.
• Experience with inventory management systems/ERP and 5S is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials management activities with cGMP compliance.
• Receive, inspect, disposition, replenish, and ship materials for cGMP manufacturing.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and deviations.
• Support change controls, CAPAs, deviations, supplier qualification, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance to ensure materials availability.
• Organize storage, conduct cycle counts, and maintain cGMP inventory records.
• Monitor temperature conditions of storage and coordinate QA/QC testing and release.
• Other duties as assigned.
