Job summary

Flex is seeking a Material Planning Analyst in Salt Lake City to support data-driven procurement and production planning. You will manage materials data, coordinate supplier information and schedules, and maintain conformance certificates to ensure smooth manufacturing workflows.

The role reports to the Manager and involves cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 7 years in materials or related fields, with electronics manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in materials or related field.
• Background in electronics manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain materials/purchasing data and supply data for production.
• Create and maintain outsourced parts schedules and certificates of conformance.
• Audit data for accuracy and prepare summary reports and charts.
• Track materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Prepare weekly purchase orders and manage client material flow.
