Job summary

Pfizer Inc. is seeking a logistics and supply chain professional to support manufacturing and distribution of medicines at the North Carolina Sanford location.

You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of inventory, and may lead a team while ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations to ensure timely delivery of products to patients, with comprehensive benefits and overtime

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
• Understanding of Import/Export regulations.
• Proficiency in Data Entry and Inventory Control Software.
• Ability to operate forklifts, conveyers, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks.
• Knowledge of cGMP, SOP, and plant safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Possibly lead lower levels within area of expertise and allocate work to others.
• Contribute to project and departmental tasks, providing direction and training.
• Maintain storage, security, and records for all drug movements, incl. controlled drugs.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of inventory and finished goods.
• Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety requirements.
• Review/approve non-standard work and ensure it is technically sound.
