Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to safely operate motorized standup forklift and pallet jacks.
• Ability to load and unload trucks.
• Knowledge of basic warehousing systems and procedures; health and safety regulations.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and distributes products, materials, and equipment within the plant.
• Prepares orders: reviews bills of lading and shipping schedules, palletizes, shrink wraps, and loads carrier; returns documentation to Logistics.
• Receives incoming materials, checks against purchase orders, inspects for damage, assists in unloading trucks.
• Stores materials on racks; maintains clean, organized stock.
• Marks materials with identifying information and tracks perishable goods in temperature-controlled rooms.
• Transports materials between receiving, storage, production areas, or other facilities.
• _operates warehouse vehicles and equipment safely; conducts basic inspections.
