Job summary

Anduril Industries in California seeks a Senior Mass Properties Engineer for the Thunder program. You will develop, track, and manage mass properties data for air vehicles, translating configuration concepts into accurate weight, CG, and inertia estimates.

You will maintain weight statements, perform distribution analyses, and assess design changes on mass characteristics, contributing to design reviews, BOM integration, and property accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Requires strong ownership and bias toward action.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Aerospace/Mechanical/Robotics/Physics).
• 5+ years in aircraft mass properties or related aerospace design roles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mass properties data for new air vehicles.
• Develop, track, and manage mass properties data across design phases.
• Define mass properties design requirements and support trade studies.
• Support weight and balance control efforts and inertial analyses.
• Generate mass properties reports and maintain accounting systems.
