Operating with a high degree of independence, this role excels at dissecting large initiatives into key phases, tracking critical paths, and driving continuous operational improvement.

Serving as the central hub of communication across cross-functional teams, retail operators, and executive leadership, the Senior Marketing Project Manager validates requirements, resolves complex obstacles, and ensures marketing strategies align seamlessly with company objectives and strategic marketing goals.

Strategic Portfolio Planning, Budgeting, and Execution
  • Direct and manage large, complex, and high-visibility marketing initiatives from inception to closeout, including comprehensive budget management and tracking
  • Plan and track project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and the critical path across multi-channel retail campaigns using the team's project management solution (e.g., Monday.com).
  • Create comprehensive workflows including all execution tasks, assign them to appropriate team members and vendors, and maintain accountability across the team to ensure on-time completion.
  • Develop full-scale project plans, business cases, and associated communications documents, with the proven ability to present them effectively to executive leadership and large-scale audiences
Cross-Functional Leadership and Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the central point of contact and work independently to effectively manage the flow of information and communication across all project stakeholders, internal business partners, and external vendors
  • Own, drive, and facilitate project-related meetings (kick-offs, status updates, executive reviews, approvals, etc.), communicate action items and next steps, and share timely recaps
  • Coordinate complex integration and installation projects related to retail marketing communications across digital, print, and in-store mediums
  • Successfully integrate workflows and processes with external partner Project Management teams to align and coordinate overall project outcomes
Vendor Management, Risk Mitigation, and Financial Reporting

  • Proactively identify, address, and problem-solve time-sensitive project challenges and ambiguous obstacles with a strategic, solutions-focused approach
  • Provide regular reporting, analysis, and profitability insights to upper management and project teams to communicate overall project status and financial performance
  • Conduct thorough project debriefs at project closeout, communicating results, ROI, and lessons learned to leadership and stakeholders
Process Optimization, Strategy, and Professional Standards
  • Lead change management projects, process improvement, and process automation initiatives, developing new workflows to allow the marketing team to execute retail campaigns more efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and professional project management experience)
  • 5+ years of proven experience directing work in a large-scale project management capacity; retail, grocery, or a fast-paced multi-unit environment experience a plus
  • Active professional project management certification required (PMP or CAPM)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and collaborative project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Practical knowledge of creative and digital marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, Mailchimp) is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated strength in financial tracking, budgeting, and project reporting
  • Flexible and collaborative team player, with the ability to evolve with business needs and support teammates
  • Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
