Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Finance Data & Insights Associate to design, develop, and optimize data solutions for Marketing Finance and Business Management. You will build a robust DataMart, streamline ETL pipelines with Databricks, and enable analytics via ThoughtSpot and Tableau.

The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights, reporting, and data governance across the marketing finance domain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, data lineage, data dictionaries, and making data discoverable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data warehousing, and data integration, with a focus on the banking/financial services industry.
• Experience designing scalable data mart architectures (star/snowflake schemas).
• Proficiency with Python, Databricks, Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse, and data modeling tools (ERWIN).
• Familiarity with ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Alteryx, or Essbase.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data mart schemas consolidating data from multiple sources for Marketing Finance and Business Management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map requirements and calculation logic.
• Work with data engineers, analysts, and tech specialists to gather and analyze business needs.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines (Databricks).
• Create reporting environments using Databricks and ThoughtSpot for analytics and reporting.
• Partner with product teams to design insightful reporting and analytics solutions and ensure data discoverability for analysis.
• Maintain documentation on data mart architecture, models, ETL processes, and governance policies.
