Commonwealth Architects seeks a Market Sector Principal – Landscape Architect in Atlanta, GA. You will lead growth, guide technical standards, mentor teams, and oversee complex landscape projects while promoting design excellence and client value.

You will drive business development, coordinate cross-disciplinary work, and manage resources to deliver high-quality outcomes. Strong leadership, licensure, and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional degree and at least fifteen years of experience, including at least five years in a Studio/Practice Manager role or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to be licensed in multiple states.
• Strong awareness of current trends in the AEC/LA industry and recognized subject-matter expertise.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a collaborative, entrepreneurial style.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed to support firm goals.

Responsibilities

• Act as a culture guardian and mentor while expanding CPL's practice and capabilities.
• Lead project pursuits, development, and delivery across large-scale multidisciplinary initiatives.
• Oversee schedules and budgets, ensure quality, and manage internal finances.
• Develop future leaders, engage stakeholders, and advocate sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with CPL leaders to implement annual business development plans.
