Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial marine underwriting, including experience with hull and P&I.
• Ability and desire to continue professional development through industry and/or outside courses.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal accounts to achieve profitability targets.
• Manage relationships with agencies and support business development.
• Guide and delegate tasks to team members.
• Collaborate on claims handling and client support.
• Negotiate reinsurance placements when required.
• Assist in the training and development of other team members.
