Concord Marine Electronics, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale seeks a senior marine electronics technician for 80–180+ ft yachts.

You’ll handle navigation, communications, networks, Starlink/5G, audio‑video and related systems from survey to installation and commissioning. You’ll diagnose, repair, and install on large yachts, work with Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad, Crestron and others; design NMEA 2000/IP networks; document work; and communicate with captains and managers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of marine electronics experience on yachts
• Hands‑on with brands including Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad, Crestron
• Strong troubleshooting of networks, WiFi and IP devices onboard
• NMEA and/or manufacturer certifications or equivalent experience
• Ability to work full‑time in the Fort Lauderdale / Broward area
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the USA

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install marine electronics on 80–180+ ft yachts in South Florida
• Design and implement NMEA 2000 and IP networks, WiFi and onboard connectivity
• Document work, update drawings, and communicate with captains, owners and PMs
• Support yard periods and new-build/refit projects at Lauderdale Marine Center
• Occasionally travel for vessel support and project work as needed

Concord Marine Electronics is hiring an experienced marine electronics technician to join our team at Lauderdale Marine Center in Fort Lauderdale. If you’ve been the “go-to” tech on 70–180+ ft yachts and want cleaner projects, better support, and clear advancement, this role is for you.

About the role

You’ll be a senior-level technician working on larger motor yachts, mostly 80–180+ ft, with some bigger projects. You’ll handle navigation, communications, networks, Starlink and 5G, audio video, and related yacht systems from survey and troubleshooting through installation, commissioning, and support.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose, repair, and install marine electronics on 80–180+ ft yachts in South Florida
• Work with systems from Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad, Peplink, Starlink, Crestron, JL Audio, and others
• Design and implement NMEA 2000 and IP-based networks, WiFi, and onboard connectivity
• Document work, update drawings, and communicate clearly with captains, owners, and project managers
• Support yard periods and new-build / refit projects at Lauderdale Marine Center and nearby yards
• Occasionally travel for vessel support and project work as needed

What you bring

• 5+ years of recent marine electronics experience on yachts
• Hands-on experience with major brands (Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad, Crestron, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting skills with networks, WiFi, and IP devices onboard
• NMEA and/or manufacturer certifications, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work full-time in the Fort Lauderdale / Broward area
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and eligibility to work in the USA
