Job summary

LPL Financial is hiring a Senior Operations Specialist in the Margins department in the United States. The role involves daily monitoring of margin call activity, debit balances, and trade items, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a finance-related bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of brokerage knowledge, plus strong communication and analytical skills to coordinate risk-based reports and support management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
1+ years’ experience of general brokerage industry knowledge.
Experience with margin regulatory guidelines and risk-based reporting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain margin calls and related items per firm/regulatory guidelines.
Handle escalations and coordinate with management on risk-based reports.
Review and enforce margin guidelines and Regulation T requirements.
Interact with LPL Financial Advisors and other departments to meet deadlines.
