Position overview

The Senior Manufacturing Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for complex assembly processes. They support efficiency, safety, and quality improvements within Plexus's assembly operations. This role is eligible for a shift differential and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for 2nd shift.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and execute manufacturing solutions, providing high-quality services that meet customer requirements, while mentoring team members and applying process improvements.
2. Utilize appropriate tools for documentation, analysis, and process verification.
3. Lead technical or project teams, supporting manufacturing processes, product requirements, and cross-disciplinary coordination.
4. Support production line operators, ensuring adherence to manufacturing practices and safety standards.
5. Maintain expertise in equipment, process control, safety, and operation relevant to the role.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or diploma in Electronics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
