Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician in Plymouth, MN, on-site for 1st shift. Qualifications

Senior Manufacturing Technician

As a Senior Manufacturing Technician at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by applying advanced technical skills to assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex aerospace components. Your expertise ensures products meet stringent quality and performance standards, supporting Honeywell's leadership in aerospace innovation.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an on‑site work schedule during the 1st Shift. In this role, you will impact product quality and manufacturing efficiency, contributing directly to the production of aerospace systems that enhance safety and reliability in the aviation industry.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced assembly and testing of aerospace components following detailed procedures and blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes and test results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related high‑precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and quality control standards specific to aerospace components.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial manufacturing setting.
WE VALUE
  • Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing technology or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
