Stratolaunch seeks a Principal Program Manager – Manufacturing with 15+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing leadership. You will transition prototypes to production at ~50 units/year, guiding cross‑functional teams in a highly matrixed environment while ensuring schedule, cost, and compliance with government contracts.

Experience with missile/interceptor systems and security clearances is preferred; strong technical background and supplier oversight are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing program management, production leadership, or aerospace/defense development.
• Direct experience transitioning complex hardware from prototype into structured production at target rates (~50 units/year).
• Strong technical background in engineering and government contracts experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Lead manufacturing readiness, rate readiness, and factory execution for ~50 units/year.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Test to ensure flow.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and contract performance under DoD and related government contracts.
• Mentor managers and engineers; present program status to executives and customers.
