Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support process technology and drive improvements across plant operations in Indiana. The role focuses on cost-effective process optimization, equipment procurement, and cross-functional collaboration with quality, safety, and production teams.

Qualifications include 8–15 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and valid driving privileges, with travel up to 5% and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years related experience.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must have valid driving privileges.
• Occasional travel (0-5%).
• Occasional overnight stays (0-5%).

Responsibilities

• Support current process technology and implement improvements to department/plant operations.
• Prepare project justification including recommendations, make-vs-buy analysis, layout, cost impact and schedule activities.
• Implement processes including equipment procurement, coordination of installation, process capability prove-out, training, process documentation, work standard measurement and production start-up.
• Ongoing support of processes resulting from process improvement, part changes, changing capacities, etc.
• Contribute to the product introduction process.
• Activities may include cost estimation, design for manufacturability, process investigation, schedule development, make-vs.-buy analysis, prototype manufacture, etc.
• Review production problems and implement solutions.
• Develop, implement and update documentation and training.
• Contribute to initiatives by other plant functions to improve operations.
