Job summary

Siemens AG in Wendell, NC is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Order Manager to join the PACS team. The role manages customer orders across SIPANEL engineered panels, SIPROTEC 5 production, and return-and-repair operations, from order acceptance through delivery and invoicing readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing/order management.
• 3+ years SAP experience supporting orders, materials, scheduling, or delivery.
• 2+ years coordinating with engineering, production, procurement, quality, logistics, project management, or finance.

Role Summary

Join the Order Management team supporting Siemens Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation at the new PACS facility in Wendell, NC. This senior individual-contributor role manages customer orders across SIPANEL engineered panels, SIPROTEC 5 production, and SIPROTEC return-and-repair operations.

You will coordinate across engineering, procurement, production, quality, logistics, project management, and finance to maintain accurate order data, achievable delivery commitments, and timely resolution of risks.

You Will Make an Impact By

• Managing orders from acceptance through production or repair, shipment, invoicing readiness, and closure.
• Coordinating SIPANEL, SIPROTEC 5, and return-and-repair orders across engineering, materials, production, testing, quality, and logistics.
• Maintaining accurate order, production, repair, and delivery data in SAP.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 3+ years managing customer, production, project, or service orders in industrial manufacturing.
• 2+ years of hands-on SAP experience supporting orders, materials, scheduling, or delivery.
• Experience coordinating with at least three of the following: engineering, production, procurement, quality, logistics, project management, repair operations, or finance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
• Ability to work on-site in Wendell, NC, with schedule flexibility based on production or customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing order management, production control, supply chain, logistics, or factory operations.
• 3+ years of experience with SAP SD, PP, MM, PS, or related functionality.
• Experience with engineer-to-order electrical equipment, electronic-device production, or return-and-repair operations.
• Experience supporting factory start-ups, production transfers, process launches, or continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Salesforce, delivery dashboards, backlog reviews, or schedule-recovery planning.

• The pay range for this position is $68,982 - $118,256 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
