Job summary

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) seeks a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing to lead the shop floor and drive performance across manufacturing engineering, production control, and quality. The role oversees ~40 engineers and technicians, balancing strategic direction with on‑the‑floor leadership.

Candidates should have 10+ years in high-precision CNC environments, proven scheduling and inspection expertise, and experience with ERP/MRP systems. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management; Master’s is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead TRD’s manufacturing operation on the shop floor with a hands-on leadership style.
• Oversee Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, and Quality groups totaling ~40 staff.
• Drive KPIs and OEE targets (≥80%) across 18+ high-precision 5-axis machines.
• Coordinate with Planning/Purchasing, Design Engineering, and EHS on safety and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and implement automation, robotics, and AI-assisted tooling to raise efficiency and quality.
