Job summary

Corium Innovations is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to lead the design, development, installation and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. You will drive process improvements in mixing, extrusion, coating, converting and packaging, while ensuring GMP compliance and safety.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree with 10+ years in equipment design and 5+ years in a pharmaceutical environment, plus strong project management and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 10+ years in equipment design and installation.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments preferred with cGMP experience.
• Experience in designing, installing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, install, manage and maintain equipment used to manufacture pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently and in compliance with GMP.
• Support engineering changes, deviations and CAPAs on assigned projects.
• Lead or participate in FMEA and continuous improvement tasks.
• Plan tests and reviews to verify design and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop standards and user requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert in equipment.
• Strong project and operations management, forecasting and scheduling.
