Job summary
Radiant in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to transition Kaleidos into a scalable production system. You will own manufacturing processes for critical reactor components and work with design, quality, test, supply chain, and operations to ensure safe, reliable builds.
You will identify constraints early, drive DFM/DFA, develop production tooling, and partner with suppliers to mature fabrication methods, while hands-on troubleshooting and optimizing repeatability,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience manufacturing complex mechanical hardware.
- Experience with DFM/DFA and collaborating with design engineers.
- Experience owning manufacturing processes from development to production.
- Strong GD&T and inspection knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Own manufacturing and inspection processes from design release to final acceptance.
- Drive DFM/DFA to reduce mass, part count, and production risk.
- Develop and qualify manufacturing processes for complex hardware.
- Define fabrication approaches and inspection methodologies.
- Design and develop production tooling and fixtures.
