Job summary

Baker Hughes in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Team Leader (Principal Manufacturing Engineer) to drive manufacturing performance, lead cross-functional teams, and advance process optimization across production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.

You will mentor a manufacturing team, manage projects and budgets, develop mitigation plans for risks, and communicate performance insights to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations and technical initiatives to support production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
• Evaluate, improve, and redefine manufacturing processes for better performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, maintenance, and quality to implement process improvements.
• Provide technical guidance on manufacturing methods, tooling, process capability, and production optimization.
• Analyze manufacturing challenges and select appropriate technical approaches for better outcomes.
• Lead a manufacturing team and support workforce development through coaching and leadership.
• Manage manufacturing resources, budgets, and priorities to meet business goals.
• Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely execution and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
• Support compliance with policies, quality standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Develop reports and presentations communicating performance and improvement strategies to leaders.
