Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Cresco, IA to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This role provides key technical expertise in process development, troubleshooting, equipment implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem solver with strong manufacturing engineering experience and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in a production setting.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects through all phases to drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and work instructions while supporting daily production needs.
• Develop and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new manufacturing technologies, including equipment testing, installation, and startup support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges and provide training on new processes and equipment.
