You will develop, qualify, and scale fabrication, define forming methods and fixtures, and partner with Design, Quality, Tooling & Automation, and Operations to deliver flight‑quality components. This role emphasizes DFMA, PFMEA, control plans, and SPC with hands‑on shop-floor execution.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of aerospace/defense manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years owning sheet metal forming and welding on flight hardware.
• Proven success qualifying fabrication processes and transitioning them to production.

Responsibilities

• Own sheet metal forming and welding processes, including forming methods, fixtures, and welding procedures.
• Define inspection strategies, post-weld processing, and final dimensional control.
• Lead PFMEA, SPC, and control plans to improve first-pass yield and cycle time.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, Tooling, Automation, and Operations on producibility and tech changes.
