Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a high‑tech facility in Fulton, IL. You will lead cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement, optimize welding processes, conduct time studies, and design workflows that boost productivity and safety across the plant.

The role partners with operations, maintenance, and safety teams, reports to the Engineering Manager, and requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of manufacturing experience; CAD and ERP experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
3+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
Strong background in pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical systems.
CAD proficiency; simulation software experience preferred.
ERP knowledge, SAP strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve plant safety.
Manage cross-functional projects with budgeting, timelines, contractor oversight, and new technologies.
Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Serve as technical resource on mechanical/electrical design, pneumatics, hydraulics, controls, and gauging systems.
Promote safety through audits, enhancements, and training support.
Utilize CAD software and simulation tools to design and implement process improvements.
