VulcanForms Inc. in Newburyport, MA seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design, direct, and coordinate production processes for our manufactured products. You will participate in New Product Introduction and drive continuous improvement using LEAN methods to reduce cycle times and costs.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at VulcanForms in Newburyport, MA, you will design, direct, and coordinate the production processes for our manufactured products. You will be involved in New Product Introduction and Continuous Improvement of existing products. You will strive to leverage new technology, advanced cutting techniques and automation equipment, and a host of LEAN manufacturing methods to improve quality and reduce cycle times and costs.
You will apply scientific principles to create processes to manufacture our components and sub-assemblies. You are a key team member in producing a wide range of products with a focus on cellular manufacturing and automation for a small subset of customers that have been identified by VulcanForms as keys to future success. Manufacturing engineers design the processes, procedures, work instructions, and systems by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, work holding, cutting tools, and materials to manufacture products to our customer's specifications.
The annual base salary range for this position is $87,590 to $120,400.
