ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Mukilteo, WA. You will lead DFMA efforts, mentor junior engineers, and oversee manufacturing flow and capacity while solving complex technical problems to keep product development moving forward.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in fabrication/assembly, GD&T proficiency, and the ability to read and generate blueprints and diagrams. U.S. citizenship is required.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on engineering experience in a fabrication and assembly shop.
• Ability to read and generate blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with material properties, in-process verification and validation.
• Must be proficient in GD&T.
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsabilidades

• Act as senior member of manufacturing engineering team across multiple duties.
• Lead DFMA aspects of product design.
• Apply broad manufacturing knowledge to projects and processes.
• Mentor junior manufacturing engineers.
• Serve as subject matter expert on DFMA and SPC for process robustness.
• Oversee material and resource planning to keep schedules on track.
• Plan manufacturing workflow, resource planning, and production line capacity with forecasts.
• Solve complex technical problems to keep design, development and production moving forward.
• Oversee process and product qualification.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for;

• Includes Manufacturing Engineering I, II and III duties and responsibilities
• Integral part of product design team leading DFMA aspects of product design
• Applies broad knowledge of manufacturing knowledge of principles and practices
• Mentors junior manufacturing engineers
• Is subject matter expert on DFMA as well and statistical process controls for monitoringprocess robustness
• Oversees material and resource planning and coordination to ensure schedules are kept
• Responsible for manufacturing work flow planning, resource planning and productionline capacity in conjunction with planned forecasts
• Responsible for solving complex technical problems in timely fashion utilizing necessaryresources to keep product design, development and production moving forward
• Oversees process qualification along with product qualification

Qualifications;

• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, or equivalent degree
• Minimum 6 years relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude required and hands-on engineering experiencein a fabrication and assembly shop environment
• Ability to read and generate blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
• Familiarity with basic material properties, in process verification and validation
• Must be proficient in GD&T
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary Range: $120k-$155k

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job‑related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
