Job summary

Biogen in the United States seeks a Senior Engineer I, Manufacturing Sciences - Data Analytics to enable data-driven decisions across manufacturing. You will design and maintain data models, connect systems, and support AI-driven analytics to improve process understanding and investigations.

Work collaboratively with Automation, IT, and development teams in a hybrid role requiring onsite presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• At least 4 years of directly relevant data analytics experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, process, engineering, or operations data.
• Strong data management and analytics fundamentals.
• Experience building data pipelines or ETL workflows.
• Ability to document methodologies and present findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define data requirements and establish data quality processes for insights.
• Translate business needs into analytical and data solutions with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain data configurations, mappings, and ETL across source systems.
• Develop integrations with enterprise platforms (DeltaV, Syncade, PI, LIMS, Oracle EBS, Snowflake).
• Support AI-based capabilities like semantic search and automated reporting.
• Document methodologies and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to investigations, process improvements, and GMP reporting via data analysis.
